Fibroid Size I Was Diagnosed With A Grapefruit Sized Fibroid Tumor. Is It OK To Wait 4months To Have Myomectomy?

I was diagnosed with a grapefruit sized fibroid tumor. Is it OK to wait 4months to have myomectomy? - fibroid size

It causes inconvenience such as incontinence, constipation and bloating, and a painful time. I wondered whether my organs expected. I lived like that for some time. I ask because I am in the week between Christmas and New Year from want and not lose too much work. I do not know how long it takes to be this size because they are not to the gynecologist in 5 years.

A fibroid size of grape fruit is large enough. It is the pressure with symptoms. Your decision depends on the advice of your gynecologist.
Has he / she proposes to get the deal done at a certain time.
You have a valid reason for delaying the operation. It is best taken in accordance with your doctor and make a decision.
The only danger is the impact of symptoms on the rise, because a delay.
But I personally believe that the growth of the tumor will not be easy, because it is a benign tumor. (I guess because I was not mentioned on the biopsy report)

When the fibroid was much smaller, I would say it would be ok to wait 4 months, but due to the size of the IT and the symptoms are not recommended to wait. It has the potential to cause other problems for the pelvic floor by these other symptoms.

I would recommend you get an additional opinion, preferably someone who is not the same function of the obstetrician-gynecologist, was to see what they think.
